AN EPITOME OF EVIL

It was 30 years ago, during a conversation at his brownstone in Brooklyn, that Dennis “The Wizard” Turner concisely explained to me what he thought of liberals. “I honestly think,” he said, “that Liberals are more disgusting than Communists.”

Dennis’s observation was brought to mind when I read a message from Lou Sheldon, head of the Traditional Values Coalition . Lou was telling me about acts of depravity so unimaginable that I thought not even liberals were capable of them. I was wrong.

Two lesbians, Candace McCullough and Sharon Duchesneau, decided they wanted to have children. Duchesneau was artificially inseminated and had a daughter named Jehanne. We live in an age where this is not shocking. But be prepared for what comes next. Both McCullough and Duchesneau are deaf (from birth, genetically) – so they chose a genetically deaf male sperm donor in order to have a child born deaf on purpose.

Jehanne is totally deaf. Duchesneau went through the procedure again and had a boy, Gauvin. He is deaf in one ear and has severe hearing loss in the other.

Creating a physically handicapped baby on purpose should be a criminal act. But are these women in jail where they belong? Of course not. No more than are the folks who run the sperm bank providing the defective sperm. Instead, McCullough remains a practicing psychologist in Bethesda, Maryland, and a member of the American Psychological Association’s Working Group on Same-Sex Families and Relationships.

Not only does the APA deem her professionally competent to counsel people, it recently approved her Working Group’s proposal that the APA formally advocate the legalization of homosexual “marriage,” adoption, and foster parenting. The APA press release , issued on July 28, stated that “parenting effectiveness and the adjustment, development and psychological well-being of children is unrelated to parental sexual orientation.”

The APA is the premier organization of professional psychologists in America, with over 150,000 members – and it sees nothing wrong with homosexuals maiming babies with engineered genetic defects. If this isn’t depravity, then there’s no such thing. Naturally, the great majority of APA’s leaders are screaming liberals. Dennis was right.

At this moment, however, I don’t know with whom I am more disgusted: liberals, or conservatives who say they may not vote for George Bush in November. I call them Petulant Conservatives.

I want to ask you to think real hard on liberals seeing nothing wrong with crippling Jehanne and Gauvin McCullough on purpose – and what it would mean for such liberals to reside in the White House and run the United States Government.

If you know any Petulant Conservatives who have some complaint against George Bush and are considering not voting for him because of it – please send this article to them and ask them to think hard as well.

Any of us can drudge up a litany of such complaints. The vast expansion of government spending and resultant deficits. The multi-trillion dollar prescription drug Medi-pander. The seemingly total inability to comprehend the threat of illegal immigration, especially from Mexicans who want to dismember America. Not dumping incompetents like George Tenet right after 9/11, and keeping in place milquetoasts like Norm Minetta whose Transportation Department refuses to profile Arabs and Moslems boarding airplanes.

All of these – and I’m sure you could add to them – drive me crazy. But here’s the kick in the pants, folks: None of it matters. None of it matters at all come November.

The American game of life is poker. All of us are in the highest-stakes game of our lives right now and the only way to back out is to leave the table – leave America and move somewhere else. If you’re staying put, then you’re in the game, and you play the hand you’re dealt.

There is absolutely no escaping from this reality: either John Kerry or George Bush will be elected President of the United States this November.

Choose.

You have no other choices.

If there is one thing we learned from the 2000 election, it’s that every single vote counts. Yes, I predicted a Bush Blow-Out last week in “The Impossibility of John Kerry.” But that will happen only if Petulant Conservatives grow up, stop acting like spoiled brats, and play the hand America is dealt like adults.

Lou Sheldon asks in his message, “Has the American Psychological Association gone mad?” The question for you and me is: “Have Petulant Conservatives gone insane?” Do they actually want to turn their country over to pro-abortion, pro-homosexual “marriage,” America-hating moral lunatics utterly incapable of defending America from Moslem terrorism?

You want to grab Petulant Conservatives by their lapels, like a friend does to someone losing his bearings in many an old movie, and shout, “Get a grip on yourself, man!” Epitomes of evil are knocking on the gates of America’s culture and security. This is no time for petulance. The time to complain to George Bush for all that he has failed to do is during his second term. Not now.

So please forward this article to anyone for whom you think it’s appropriate, and remind them:
